Traditional, warm and cosy, the four star Le Grand Coeur & Spa has the pleasure of welcoming you for an exceptional mountain break. One of the region’s most prestigious hotels, this historic chalet in the resort of Méribel offers an outstanding quality service.
Luxurious, intimate, peaceful. In the 35 bedrooms – all with balcony or terrace
– where the golden tones of the wood blend with the floral textiles and
embroideries, everything has been completely re-designed and redecorated over
recent years: carpets, stretch fabrics from famous designers (Pierre Frey,
etc.), top-of-the-range beds, 26 to 42 inch screen LCD televisions…
17 rooms
face the south with views over the slopes, 12 are west-facing with views over
the mountains and 6 are north-facing.
The sweet pleasures of an evening next to an open fireplace, your dream setting, an alcove or a ravishing duplex…all exquisitely decorated, spacious and stylish, the 5 suites and junior suites have all been redesigned and redecorated over recent years, as have all the rooms at the Grand Coeur & Spa. South-facing with views over the ski slopes, a terrace or private balcony, the suites and apartments are equipped with a large 16/9 screen, stereo system (iPod socket) and DVD-DivX player
Le grand coeur restaurant
“Offering gourmet fixed or à la carte menus, the Chef Marc Dach
has presided over the kitchens of the Grand Cœur & Spa since December 1991.
In the dining room or on the terrace, he serves an innovative, gastronomic
cuisine inspired by the rich variety of Savoyard cuisine, and a fabulous dessert
trolley, lunch time and in the evening.
Make the most of a dinner between
friends or with the family, in a warm and relaxing atmosphere, to taste the
Chef’s finest delicacies. The half-board package, where the menu is changed
daily, offers a different pleasure every day: 2 starters, meat or fish, cheeses,
chef’s choice of desserts or dessert trolley…and the choice between two wines,
from the magnificent wine menu with 400 references from all over France,
scrupulously overseen by our head Maître d’Hôtel.”
Come midday, the south-facing terrace is never empty. Customers can savour the Chef’s gastronomic cuisine, with a light version of fish or meat, and a choice of a dozen or so starters…along with spectacular views over the women’s 1992 winter Olympics downhill slope and the Mont Vallon rising to an impressive 2300 metres.
